A specially designed 4-day expedition to reach the summit of Mount Ararat. The program includes daily altitude adaptation and a visit to historical Kars. Day 1 – Departure from Yerevan, travel through Georgia and Turkey to Dogubayazit, ascent to 3200 m. Day 2 – Trek from 3200 m to the 4200 m camp (approx. 5–6 hours). We invite all mountain lovers to climb the highest peak of the Armenian Highland — Mount Ararat (5137 m / 5165 m) and take a sightseeing tour of Western Armenia. Ararat is considered a relatively accessible 5000+ peak, serving as an excellent introduction to high-altitude mountaineering. Itinerary: Day 1. Yerevan - border - Ani - Bayazet Departure from Yerevan early in the morning. After crossing the border, we will stop at Lake Childir, then visit Ani, the ancient capital of the Bagratid Kingdom. We will also stop at the Koghb salt mines before arriving in Bayazet. Overnight at a hotel. Day 2. First Camp (3200 m) Transfer from the hotel to 2200 m by off-road vehicles. A 4-5 hour hike with light backpacks to the first camp at 3200 m. Overnight in tents. Heavy luggage and camping gear are transported by horses throughout the trip. Day 3. The round-trip hiking distance for Mt Npat is about 5 km, with a relative elevation gain of about 300 meters. Day 4: Exceptional Dance Ascent to Koghbasar, Araks river, lunch in Kars, return to Yerevan. The round-trip hiking distance for Koghbasar is 3 km, the relative elevation gain is 250 meters, and the mountain's height is 2562 meters. Although the climb is short, it includes rocky sections. North Peak Mountain Club invites experienced mountain enthusiasts to climb one of the most beautiful peaks in the Alps — the famous Matterhorn (4478 m) via the classic Hörnli ridge from the Swiss side. This route has a 3B (AD+) alpine difficulty rating, so only those with sufficient rock climbing training and experience can participate. Each group consists of a maximum of 4 participants and 2 guides. Itinerary: Day 1. Arrival in Zermatt. City walk, preparations for the ascent, overnight at a hotel. Participants arrive in Zermatt independently; organizers can assist with booking tickets. Day 2. Cable car to Schwarzsee station (2580 m). Hike to the Hornlihutte mountain hut at 3260 m (4.3 km hike). If time permits, we will scout a section of the climbing route. Day 3. Start at 05:00 for the summit of Matterhorn. The ascent usually takes 5-6 hours, and the descent to the hut takes about the same. The entire climb is done in rope teams with mutual insurance. Day 4. We are in for an incredibly interesting, yet challenging ascent, rewarded with magnificent views, including a view of Masis from the peak of Sis. Given that Sis requires a difficult climb, participants must have mountaineering experience and full hiking gear.
