From August 26-30, 2026, we plan to ascend to the peak of dreams — the majestic Ararat. Day 1 In the morning at 04:00, we depart from the Garegin Nzhdeh statue towards the Armenian-Georgian border. Crossing into Turkey through Javakhk, we will enjoy stunning views. Then we will head to the historical capital of "a thousand and one churches," Ani. After experiencing the power of its unique structures and history, we will continue to Bayazet for an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel. Day 2 In the morning, off-road vehicles will take us to the first base camp at 3200m. Overnight stay in tents. Day 3 In the morning, we start the ascent to the second base camp at 4200m. Overnight stay in tents. Day 4 Around midnight (01:00–02:00), we begin the final climb to reach the summit by morning. Weather permitting, we will witness the most cherished dream — Armenia and its sea of mountains. Then we descend back to the first camp at 3200m, rest, and head down to Bayazet. Overnight stay in the hotel. Day 5 After breakfast, we will travel to Kars, visit the Kars Fortress and the Holy Apostles Church, and then return to Yerevan. Depending on weather conditions, an extra day may be spent in the base camp at no additional cost. The price includes: - Transport in all directions - 2 nights in a high-quality hotel - Meals during the ascent - Guide services (including local guides) - Entrance fees to attractions - Rent of tents and crampons - Rent of horses The price does not include: Turkey visa fee, meals in cities, and other personal expenses. One of the most beautiful peaks of the Armenian Highlands and the Armenian Dance (Haykakan Par) mountain range—the symbol of Alashkert, Mt Sukavet—calls to us. Along with it, two more exceptional ascents await: Mt Koghbasar, as well as the legendary Mt Npat. The program also includes Lake Gaylatu, the highest among the large lakes in the Armenian Highlands. Special highlights include a visit to the Bagavan Temple at the foot of Mt Npat, crossing the Dzirav field, and visiting the Diyadin hot springs. Day 1: Lake in the Mountains Departure Yerevan-Gyumri-Akhalkalaki-Kars. Lake Tsovakn Hyusiso, passage through the slopes of Masis, Lake Gaylatu. Dinner in Bayazet or Agri. Overnight stay in Agri, Alashkert, or Bayazet. Day 2: Perfection of the Dance Ascent to Sukavet. Early in the morning, a vehicle will take us from the hotel to one of the villages of Alashkert, where the climb begins. The round-trip hiking distance for Mt Sukavet is about 12 km, the relative elevation gain is about 1200 meters, and the mountain's height is 3434 meters. Day 3: Symbol of the Dance Dzirav field, Aratsani river, Bagavan Temple, ascent to Mt Npat, Diyadin hot springs. The round-trip hiking distance for Mt Npat is about 5 km, with a relative elevation gain of about 300 meters. Day 4: Exceptional Dance Ascent to Koghbasar, Araks river, lunch in Kars, return to Yerevan. The round-trip hiking distance for Koghbasar is 3 km, the relative elevation gain is 250 meters, and the mountain's height is 2562 meters. Although the climb is short, it includes rocky sections.
