Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the app, keep it secure, and improve it.

Account information (if you sign in): when you sign in with Apple or Google, we store your user ID, auth identifiers, and may store your email address and name if provided by your sign-in provider.
Saved activity and preferences: bookmarks, followed sources, reminder settings, and other preferences you save to sync across devices.
Ticket purchase data (if you buy tickets): your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. Payment is processed securely through the acquiring bank — we do not store your card details.
Push notifications (if you enable them): device install ID, platform, app version, and push token.
Feedback and submissions: messages you send us, optional email, device info, and IP address for abuse prevention.
Technical data: IP address, user agent, and basic request logs for security and debugging.
Cookies and local storage (web): session cookies, CSRF protection, and preference storage such as last visited city and language.

How We Use Information

Provide sign-in, sync, and account features
Process ticket purchases, deliver tickets, and issue fiscal receipts
Send reminders, ticket confirmations, and notifications you opt into
Operate, maintain, and improve the app
Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security issues

Sharing and Third Parties

When you purchase a ticket, your name and email are shared with the event organizer for entry verification. The organizer may only use this information for event-related purposes.

We use the following service providers to run the app:

Firebase (authentication)
Mixpanel (analytics — on mobile, anonymized session recordings may be captured to help us understand how the app is used)
Sentry (crash reporting)
Expo (push notifications)

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account in the app settings. This removes your account and saved data from our systems and revokes your sign-in.

If you have purchased tickets, your order records (name, email, and purchase details) are retained after account deletion as required for tax and legal compliance.

Children's Privacy

Esora is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated date.
