Key topics: — Knowledge production and why the source of our values matters. — Side effects of adopting foreign ideas into a local context. — How hard and soft power shape our understanding of ourselves. — What studying in global cultural centers reveals about our own contexts and histories. — The creation of myths and how Armenia is currently redefining its own narratives. Diana Sardaryan is an art curator currently pursuing her MA in Curatorial Practice at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work focuses on underrepresented cultures, post-colonial narratives, and the intersection of art, design, and technology.
