Street Ball Armenia

The Chess Academy of Armenia and Street Ball Armenia are hosting a blitz chess tournament in Gyumri. The competition follows the Swiss system with 6-7 rounds, conducted according to FIDE rules. Eligibility: Boys and girls aged U-12 and U-16 with 4th, 3rd, 2nd, or 1st rank and a national rating up to 2200. Time control: 5 minutes for the entire game with a 3-second increment per move. Schedule: U-12: Registration 11:00–12:00, start at 12:00 U-16: Registration 14:00–15:00, start at 15:00 Entry fee is 1,000 AMD. Payment is mandatory via the Idram Junior app; each participant must pay individually. In case of tied scores, rankings will be determined by Buchholz (median and full) and the number of games played with the black pieces.
