Mtnalich, Lake Rapi and Mt Astghkan

A three-day tent expedition exploring the northern slopes of Mount Aragats. Itinerary: Day 1: Departure from Yerevan to Geghadzor village, followed by a hike to Mtnalich Lake. Overnight in tents. Day 2: Trek to Lake Rapi, situated directly beneath the dramatic rock wall of the Northern Peak of Aragats. Overnight camp by the lake. Day 3: Ascent of Mt Astghkan (3003m), offering a clear view of all four summits of Aragats. Return to Yerevan. Required gear: Hiking boots, 60-80L backpack, sleeping bag, warm layers, rain gear, sunscreen, and sunglasses. To confirm participation, please contact Armenian Geographic.
