A trek to the second-highest peak of the Geghama Mountains, Mount Spitakasar (3555 m), and the pristine Lake Nazeli (3100 m). We will travel from Yerevan to Geghard village and then continue by truck into the mountains to start the hike. The summit offers views of Lake Sevan, volcanic cones, and Mount Ararat. A two-day expedition to Mount Khustup, starting from a base camp at 2,000 meters. Day 1: Yerevan – Kapan – Baghaburj Departure from Yerevan to Kapan. From Baghaburj village, 4x4 vehicles will transport the group to Khustup Camping. Overnight in tents (provided) with access to basic amenities. Day 2: The Summit Early morning hike towards the peak. Experience the sunrise from the Gates of Khustup followed by the final ascent to the rocky summit. The top offers panoramic views of the Voghji Gorge and the Zangezur, Meghri, and Bargushat mountain ranges. Requirements: Age 18–55, average physical fitness, and no health issues. Sporty clothing and hiking boots with hard soles are recommended. A unique sunset hike to the peak of Mount Artanish (2461 m) in Gegharkunik region. The summit offers a stunning view of the intersection of Great and Little Sevan and the volcanic cones of the Geghama mountain shield.
