Hiking to Mount Armaghan
A hike to the summit of the extinct volcano in the Geghama Mountains (2829m). At the top of Mount Armaghan, you will find a small crater lake and a chapel. In clear weather, the peak offers sweeping views of Lake Sevan and the Vardenis mountain ranges. The trail starts from Madina village, leading through meadows and rocky slopes. Hike details: • Distance: 10 km • Difficulty: Moderate Required gear: Comfortable hiking boots, warm and spare clothing, raincoat, backpack, sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, flashlight, first aid kit, and food for one day.
