Ascent to the highest summit of the Geghama mountain range (3597 m). The journey starts with a drive to Geghard village, followed by a trip on a GAZ-52 truck to an altitude of 3,000 meters, where the hike begins. Highlights: • Crater lake at the summit • Lake Vanki • Ancient petroglyphs and Vishapakars (dragon stones) Route length: 12 km Altitude gain: 600 m Required gear: backpack, hiking or sturdy sport boots, a spare pair of shoes, warm clothes, raincoat, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), headlight, swimsuit, one-day meal, and at least 1.5l of water.
