Hiking to Rapi and Mtna Lakes

Located at an altitude of 3001 meters on the slopes of Mount Aragats, Rapi Lake is one of the most picturesque high-altitude lakes in Armenia. The route features impressive views of the massive northern wall of Aragats and alpine meadows. From the village of Geghadzor, we will cover part of the way by trucks, then begin an 8–9 km hike to the lake. Required gear: • Hiking boots and comfortable clothing • Warm clothes, a change of clothes, and a raincoat • Backpack and a flashlight • Sunglasses, summer hat, and sunscreen • Personal first aid kit • Food for one day (bottled water provided by the club) Meeting point: Republic Square, near the Marriott Hotel.
