Climb to the Southern Summit of Mount Aragats
Hiking & NatureA climb to the lowest of the four peaks of Armenia's highest mountain (3887m). Starting from Lake Kari at 3200m, the trail winds through volcanic rocks and alpine landscapes with views of the Ararat plain and surrounding ranges. Distance: 10 km Elevation gain: 600 m Requirements: hiking boots, comfortable warm clothing, a change of clothes, raincoat, backpack, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, flashlight, first aid kit, and food for one day. Bottled water is provided by the club. Meeting point: Republic Square, at the start of Vazgen Sargsyan St (near Marriott Hotel). To participate, call 044 88 00 58 or message the Armland Adventure page. Payment should be made on the day of registration to the ARARATBANK account (15100436043560, Artyom Martirosyan) or card (4375 1110 1585 3736), with a screenshot of the receipt sent to the organizers.
