Lakes Mtnalich, Rapi, and Astghkan

A hike to the alpine lakes of Mount Aragats. Starting from Geghadzor village, a truck (GAZ 66) will take us to Lake Rapi (3,000m), offering views of the Aragats northern wall. From there, we hike to Mtnalich (3,500m), a deep blue mirror-like lake located right beneath Armenia's highest peak, and continue to Lake Astghkan. Route length: 10 km Altitude gain: 500 m Required gear: backpack, hiking boots or sport boots with hard soles (+ spare pair), warm clothes, raincoat, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen, headlight, one-day meal, and at least 1.5l of water. Transfer the payment to Armgeo LLC (InecoBank, 2052 0222 1888 1001), mentioning your name and surname or phone number. 4. Send a screenshot of the receipt to the Armenian Geographic messenger. Cancellations are refundable only if made at least one day before the trip by 12:00 PM. The bus departs on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.
