Mount Spitakasar and Nazeli Lake
Hiking & NatureAn ascent to Mount Spitakasar (3555 m), the second-highest peak of the Geghama mountain range, followed by a hike to Lake Nazeli at 3100 m. The summit offers views of Lake Sevan, volcanic cones, and Mount Ararat. Route length: 8 km Altitude gain: 400 m Meeting point: Martiros Saryan Park Required gear: Backpack, hiking boots (or sturdy sport shoes), spare pair of shoes, warm clothes, raincoat, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, headlight, one-day meal, and at least 1.5l of water.
