Climbing the Southern Summit of Mount Aragats
Hiking & NatureA journey to Armenia's highest mountain to climb its southern summit (3887m). The hike starts from Lake Kari at an altitude of 3200m, passing through volcanic rocks and high-altitude landscapes. Clear weather offers views of the other three peaks of Aragats and the Ararat Valley. Route distance: 10 km Relative altitude gain: 600 m Required gear: hiking boots, comfortable and warm clothing, change of clothes, raincoat, backpack, summer hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, flashlight, first aid kit, and food for one day. Bottled water is provided by the club. Meeting point: Republic Square (near Marriott Hotel) at 07:30. To participate, call 044 88 00 58 or message the Armland Adventure Club Facebook page by 13:00 the day before. Registration is confirmed after payment (15100436043560 AMD ARARATBANK, Artyom Martirosyan) and sending a confirmation receipt. Cancellations are accepted until 13:00 the day before; otherwise, full payment is required.
