The hike starts near Tigranashen, climbing along the slopes of the Urts Mountains to the rocky summit of Mount Mets Parakhadem (1,955 m), looking out over the Urts range and Mounts Greater and Lesser Ararat. Route length: 14 km Elevation gain: 650 m Meeting point: Martiros Saryan park Required gear: • Backpack • One-day food and water (at least 1.5 L) • Warm clothes and raincoat • Sunglasses, cap, sun cream • Flashlight, personal first aid kit • Hiking boots or hard-soled sport shoes (plus a spare pair of shoes) • Trekking poles and hiking gaiters (optional) Includes transport and guide service.
