Sunset from Mount Artanish

A special sunset hike to the top of Mount Artanish (2461 m) in the Gegharkunik region. The peak offers a stunning vantage point over the intersection of Great and Little Sevan and the volcanic cones of the Geghama mountain shield. Route length: 10 km Altitude gain: 600 m Meeting point: Martiros Saryan park Meeting time: 13:30 Required items: backpack, one-day meal, water (at least 1.5l), sunglasses, sunscreen, cap, warm clothes, headlight, raincoat. Trekking poles and hiking gaiters are optional. Wear comfortable sportswear and sturdy boots; bringing a spare pair of shoes is recommended.
