An ascent to two peaks of the Aragats mountain range: Tezharuyk (3,423 m) and Amberd (3,234 m). The hike starts from Lake Kari at an elevation of 3,200 meters, travels through alpine meadows toward Mount Tezharuyk, continues to Mount Amberd, and finishes back at Lake Kari. Route length: 16 km Altitude gain: 700 m Included: transport and guide services. Required and recommended gear: • backpack, warm clothes, raincoat • one-day food supply and at least 1.5 L of water • hiking boots or hard-soled sport shoes (plus a spare pair just in case) • sunglasses, cap, sunscreen • flashlight, personal first aid kit • trekking poles (optional) How to register: 1.
