Perch Zeytuntsyan "Parisian Verdict" "ASALA" drama in 2 acts. In 1981, 4 suicide members of the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA) seized the Turkish consulate in Paris. After negotiations, they surrendered to the authorities on the condition that their trial would be open and public. The Turkish prosecutors made every effort to recognize them as terrorists. But the posture of the 4 Armenian hero-boys and the speech of their defense attorney, the famous lawyer Patrick Devedjian, proved both to the court and to the whole world that they are demandants, and that what happened in 1915 was not only the loss and tragedy of most of our country, but genocide. The performance was staged in 2015 and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The play has been staged 100 times to date.
