Western Armenia 3 Days

Western Armenia calls us back to our roots and homeland. Magnificent Ani, powerful Kars, incomparable Van, and wonderful Akhtamar await us, along with the beautiful Berkri waterfall and much more. During this three-day journey, we will sail on Lake Van, visit Akhtamar Island and the Holy Cross Church, pass along the slopes of Mount Ararat, enjoy the waters of Berkri waterfall, Lake Childir, and the Araks River, and discover the cities of Kars and Van with their mighty fortresses and historical sites. Program: DAY 1: Lake Childir, Ani (Cathedral, Church of the Redeemer, Abuhamrents, Tigran Honents, etc.), Araks River, transit through Igdir with a view of Ararat from the opposite side, Bayazet Fortress. DAY 2: Berkri Waterfall, Mher's Door, Van Cat Breeding Center, Van Fortress, Urartian Royal Tombs, Akhtamar Island, Holy Cross Church, swimming in Lake Van. DAY 3: Kars Fortress, Vardan's Bridge, Church of the Holy Apostles, Charents' House. With group consensus, a visit to Mush (St. Marine Church, Aratsani River, Sulukh Bridge) can be added.
