Climbing Mount Khustup
A two-day expedition to one of Syunik’s most majestic peaks. Day 1: Drive from Yerevan to Kapan, continuing to Tapan (Navcha). We will visit Shaki Waterfall on the way and spend the evening around a campfire at the campsite. Day 2: Early morning ascent to catch the sunrise on the slopes before pushing to the summit (3201m). The hike is of medium complexity. Total distance: 12 km. Elevation gain: 1200m. Mandatory gear: • Sleeping bag, backpack, headlamp • Hiking or athletic clothes, warm layers, and spare shoes • Sun and rain protection • Food and water for two days • Personal first aid kit Meeting point: Aram Manukyan statue.
