A performance by multimedia artist and experimental musician Marie Yevkiné Tirard, presented as part of the permanent exhibition "Armenia-Diaspora". The piece draws from a notebook of Western Armenian poems written by her great-grandmother Yevkiné Diarian, a genocide survivor. Stepping into the role of a contemporary ashugh, she turns these silent texts into trembling musical scores, exploring Armenian modal singing, personal archives, and collective resistance through music, storytelling, and reflection. The immersive performance blends voice, experimental music, electro-acoustic saz, ambient field sounds, and video projections of the poetry alongside landscapes and ruins. Curator: Bela Pogosian.
