Ascent of Mount Ararat and Little Ararat (6 Days)

Mark this date and start preparing: TRICHQ is heading to the dream peaks of Greater and Lesser ARARAT. Day 1 At 04:00, we depart from the Garegin Nzhdeh statue towards the Armenian-Georgian border. Passing through the scenic landscapes of Javakhk, we will reach the Georgian-Turkish border. Then, we visit the historic capital of Ani before continuing to Bayazet for an overnight hotel stay. Day 2 After breakfast, vehicles will take us to the mountain slope to begin our ascent of Mount Sis (Lesser Ararat). Descent to Bayazet, overnight in a hotel. Day 3 Off-road vehicles will take us to the first base camp at 3200m. Overnight in tents. Day 4 Ascent to the second camp at 4200m. Overnight in tents. Day 5 At midnight (01:00-02:00), we begin the final ascent to the summit. Weather permitting, we will witness the breathtaking view of Armenia from the top. Then, we descend to the first camp and return to Bayazet for a city tour and celebration. Day 6 After breakfast, we visit Kars, including the Kars Fortress and the Holy Apostles Church, before returning to Yerevan. Important: Depending on weather conditions, we may spend an extra day in the base camp at no additional cost.
