During this impressive and rich five-day trip, you will see Nemrut, Van, Ani, Mush, Kars, Erzurum, Tigranakert, Diyarbakir, Bingöl, Bitlis, and the rivers Aratsani, Araks, Euphrates, and Tigris. You will visit the sanctuary of the gods on Mount Nemrut, swim in Lake Van, taste the legendary Van tarekh fish, see the main rivers of the Armenian Highland, visit almost all major cities of Western Armenia, and numerous legendary fortresses and famous monasteries. Day 1. Departure: Yerevan-Gyumri-Akhalkalaki-Kartsakh. Visit Lake Childir and the magnificent Ani: Cathedral, Church of the Holy Savior, and other monuments. Stop at the banks of the Araks River and drive along the slopes of Mt. Masis. Day 2. Berkri Waterfall, Mher's Door, and Agravakar. In Van: Van cat breeding center, Tushpa Fortress, and the tomb of Urartian kings. Visit Akhtamar Island (Holy Cross Church), swimming in Lake Van, and tasting the legendary tarekh fish. Day 3. Ascent of Mount Nemrut (Van). Visit Bitlis (Baghesh): the fortress and giant khachkars of Por. Pass through the southern part of Sasun to Diyarbakir (Tigranakert): the city walls, Tigris River, Ten-Eyed Bridge, and St. Kirakos Church. Day 4. Stop at the Euphrates River and visit mysterious Nemrut — the Sanctuary of the Gods. Road to Mush via Sasun and Byurakn. In Mush: St. Marine Church, Mush Plain, Aratsani River, and Sulukh Bridge. Day 5. Erzurum (Karin): Sanasaryan College, the fortress, and Armenian church. Trip to Kars: Kars Fortress, Vardan's Bridge, Holy Apostles Church, and Charents' House. Price includes: 3 and 4-star hotels, transport, two meals a day, professional guide service, boat trip in Van, and entrance tickets to some attractions.
