Mount Azhdahak Climb and Petroglyphs

Hatis Tour leads an expedition to the highest peak of the Geghama Mountains — Mount Azhdahak (3597m). This route features ancient petroglyphs and the famous crater lake at the summit. Itinerary: Departure from Yerevan to Geghard village, followed by an off-road transfer to the mountain's base. Ascent to the summit of Mount Azhdahak (3597m). Discovery of prehistoric rock carvings (petroglyphs). Meeting point: 7:30 AM near Surb Khach Church on Komitas Avenue. Required gear: hiking boots, backpack, rain gear, warm layers, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), lunch for one day, and water.
