Hiking to Mantash Waterfall

Escape the city heat for the northwestern slopes of Mount Aragats to cool off by the 21-meter Mantash Waterfall. The trail offers views of the Mantash reservoir and the blooming alpine meadows. The hike is of medium difficulty. Previous experience is not required, but be prepared for a long walk. Distance: 16 km Elevation gain: 550 m Requirements: — Comfortable hiking or sportswear (change of clothes recommended) — Sun and rain protection — Food and water for one day — Personal first aid kit, trekking poles (optional) Meeting point: Near the Republic Square metro station, by the statue of Aram Manukyan.
