Lake Nazeli and Mt. Spitakasar

A journey through some of the most scenic spots in the Geghama Mountains. Starting from Geghard Monastery, a truck will take us to the base of Mt. Spitakasar. From there, we will ascend the second-highest peak of the range (3560 m), offering views of Mt. Azhdahak and Lake Nazeli, where the hike continues. Distance: 12 km Elevation gain: 450 m Required gear: hiking boots, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, cream), raincoat, water, and lunch for the day. Meeting point: Sakharov Square.
