For this month’s Film Friday, a screening of the newly remastered and restored version of Gor Kirakosyan’s beloved comedy Big Story in a Small City. Based on real events, the director’s graduation film captures the early-2000s Yerevan aesthetic with sharp humor. Immediately following the screening at TUMO Gyumri, director Gor Kirakosyan and TUMO film curator Raffi Movsisyan will hold a panel discussion on commercial vs. arthouse cinema.
