A new route in the Lori region exploring the villages of Ardvi and Yaghdan. The hike starts at the Odzy Port monument, visits the 13th-century St. Hovhannes Monastery, reaches the summit of Mount Shekaghbyur, and passes through the Hovnanadzor settlement. We finish in Yaghdan, a village founded by Greeks in 1821 that still preserves its signature red-tiled roofs. Distance: 13 km Elevation gain/loss: 780 m Requirements: Wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy boots (non-fabric preferred). Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a one-day supply of food and water. Please bring a second pair of shoes to leave in the transport and use reusable containers for your lunch.
