Mount Sis Ascent

Sis is one of the most beautiful and impressive mountains of the Armenian Highlands, which was closed to mountaineering for years but is now accessible. We are in for an incredibly interesting, yet challenging ascent, rewarded with magnificent views, including a view of Masis from the peak of Sis. Given that Sis requires a difficult climb, participants must have mountaineering experience and full hiking gear. In addition to the impressive ascent of Sis, you will see Kars and Igdir, the Araks River and Koghb, Lake Childir, and other wonders. The price includes the services of local professional guides, an Armenian mountain guide-turkologist accompanying the group, transportation in high-class minibuses, a 3-star hotel (double room), breakfasts, dinner on the first day and lunch on the third day, all entry fees, and the climbing permit. The price does not include the visa for Turkey and food on the second day. The program includes Lake Childir, the salt mines of Koghb, the ascent to the summit of Sis (3925m, a hike of about 12km), the Araks River, and the historical sites of Kars.
