Shengavit is one of the oldest settlements of the Armenian Highlands, dating back to the 4th–3rd millennia BCE and contemporary with the early civilizations of Egypt and Mesopotamia. Strolling through the open-air site, we'll see how archaeology unlocks the past: where ancient dwellings lie buried and how ceramic shards reveal craft and belief systems. Led by Pavel Kolosnitsyn, an archaeologist, science communicator, and author of the blog Starheolog. Meeting point is at the museum entrance. Duration is around 2 hours. Age: 8+ Museum admission included. Cash payment at the entrance. Please bring water and sun protection. Registration via lancoworking.am.
