A 13 km trek to Mount Sevazhayr (2727 m), a peak distinguished by its massive rocky summit. This unique route avoids the standard descent, taking you through scenic trails down to the village of Arates to explore the ruins of the medieval Arates Monastery. Elevation gain: 650 m. Required gear: Sturdy hiking boots, comfortable clothing, raincoat, backpack, flashlight, one-day supply of food and water. Bring a change of shoes to leave in the vehicle.
