"The Marriage of Figaro" is a comedy about a pleasure-seeking and adventurous Count who, after numerous romantic affairs, turns all his attention to Susanna, the first maid of his wife. Upon learning of this, Figaro, Susanna’s beloved, who is preparing to become her husband, does everything he can to thwart the Count’s plans and obtain his consent for their marriage. As a result, numerous comic situations arise, causing the Count to repeatedly find himself in ridiculous and laughable circumstances.
