A laboratory where, together with SEC and student groups from Yerevan, Tehran, and Essen, participants build instruments and develop compositions for a collective performance in the Botanical Garden. In conversation with the plants, a procession emerges, sounding like a storm over the mountains, amphibians by a pond in the woods, or a strange superorganism discovering its multifaceted voice in the harvest season. Hosted by sound artists and musicians Pia Achternkamp, Diane Barbé, Nino Dava, Pablo Diserens, Lisa Mondlane, and Joe Summers. The two-day workshop takes place on 27 & 29 September, followed by performances on the evenings of 2 & 4 October. Participation requires attending both workshop days and being available for the performances.
