James Joyce: Ulysses and Russia

The discussion covers Joyce's encounters with Vladimir Nabokov, Sergei Eisenstein, and Ilya Ehrenburg, the history of translating "Ulysses" in the USSR and post-Soviet Russia, and the great modernist's perception of Pushkin, Lermontov, Tolstoy, and Dostoevsky.
