Armenia is home to more than 20 species of snakes, yet most people only know about the blunt-nosed viper and a few other venomous types. This lecture covers the full spectrum of local snakes, not just the dangerous ones. Leonid Neymark will discuss their diversity and lifestyle patterns, as well as where and when these reptiles can be observed in the wild. Speaker: Leonid Neymark, herpetologist and graduate of the Department of Vertebrate Zoology at Moscow State University. Admission: donation (any Armenian banknote). Registration via the form at lettersandnumbers.am. Pet-friendly.
