The Artist as Image: Curatorial Tour with Vigen Galstyan
Since its invention in 1839, photography has not only maintained a close dialogue with fine arts, but has also fundamentally transformed how artists themselves are seen, remembered, and imagined. Led by exhibition curator Vigen Galstyan, this tour explores how the artist evolved through photographic portraiture from a private individual into a public and cultural figure — and eventually into a consciously constructed image. Included with a standard gallery admission ticket (entrance from Republic Square).
