Hovhannes Sharambeyan’s 100th Anniversary
ArtsDilijian hosts the kick-off events for the 100th anniversary of Hovhannes (Vanik) Sharambeyan—Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR and founder of the Folk Art Museum. From August 16 to 18, the program begins with a series of cultural initiatives in Dilijan dedicated to the preservation of national crafts and Sharambeyan's artistic legacy.

The Hovhannes Sharambeyan Folk Arts Museum in Yerevan houses a large collection of Armenian folk crafts—wood, metal and stone carving, ceramics, rugs, textiles, and silverwork.
