The screening presents eleven short media works by artists from different generations and geographies, created with contemporary tools ranging from camera to computer software. Organized thematically, the works explore the distance between lived experience and the narratives that emerge from it, touching on questions of identity, home, memory, and change. Featured artists include Wendi Yan, Shi Zheng, Maitha Abdalla, Tamar Ettun, Carla Gannis, Jane Bustin, Andro Eradze, Sky Hopinka, and others.
