June 1940. France has fallen and signs the armistice. Amid the chaos, General Charles de Gaulle refuses to surrender and escapes to London to continue the fight for a free France. Without an army, without meaningful support, and with little hope, he begins to build the French Resistance, driven by the unshakable conviction that his country has not yet been defeated.
