The debut Yerevan show for Qarqarot, a British-Armenian symphonic doom band born out of the Vanadzor alternative scene. Seeking a slower, heavier sound, the band draws inspiration from the landscapes of northern Armenia. Their debut album, When Will Dawn Break at Last, takes five tales and poems by Hovhannes Tumanyan as its foundation, exploring Armenian folk, classical, and liturgical tonalities through crushing doom riffs and broad orchestral textures.
