Vanakan represents the new generation of Armenian ethnic rock. Emerging from the musical underground, the band has achieved tangible success, including warmly received releases and musical scores for theatrical performances. Vanakan's music is diverse: their most famous works are a solid fusion of Armenian motifs and progressive rock. However, the group does not limit itself to ethnic rock and also composes in English. Fans of the genre will find heavy and intelligent riffs along with beautiful solos, but above all, they will surely remember the unique and powerful voice of vocalist Van Hovhannisyan.
