Holy Cross: Western Armenia (3 days)

Western Armenia is calling us back to our roots. Magnificent Ani, powerful Kars, incomparable Van and wonderful Akhtamar, beautiful Berkri and much more await us. During this three-day trip, we will sail on Lake Van and see Akhtamar Island and the Holy Cross Church, pass by the slopes of Mount Masis, and enjoy the Berkri waterfall, Lake Cildir, and the Araks River. We will explore the cities of Kars and Van, the powerful fortresses of Bayazet, Kars, and Van, and various other historical sites. At the group's request, Mush can be added to the itinerary to see the old Armenian quarter and St. Marine Church, the Mush plain, the Aratsani River, the Sulukh Bridge, Basen, and Sarighamish. The program includes: 3+ star hotels (double rooms), high-quality minibus, quality 2-time meals (selective menu), professional guide services (Armenian Turkologists), all entrance fees to attractions, and the boat trip in Van. The price does not include the visa fee.
