A talk by Alexander Arkhangelsky — writer, philologist, and author of the book "Free People" about the dissident movement. Human rights activists, samizdat publishers, and prisoners of conscience — who were these people who dared to oppose the ideological machine? How did they manage to maintain internal freedom under total control, and why is their experience relevant today? Alexander will share segments of his personal video interviews with movement participants — footage that was censored and removed at the request of Roskomnadzor.
