A major retrospective marking the bicentenary of photography, presenting the legacy of Toros Aladjajian for the first time in Armenia. As a master of analogue photographic printing in Paris for over six decades, Aladjajian collaborated with world-renowned photographers to define the visual language of black-and-white film. The exhibition features 114 prints by 55 photographers from 13 countries, including masterpieces by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastião Salgado, Marc Riboud, and Josef Koudelka. This collection highlights the essential dialogue between the photographer and the printer, revealing how a master's hand in the darkroom shapes the final artistic vision. Most of the works on display come from Toros Aladjajian's personal collection.
