Climbing Mount Khustup
A two-day expedition to Syunik to summit the mystical Mount Khustup. Day 1: Departure from Yerevan, stop at Tatev Monastery, move to Kapan and then to Navchay campsite. Evening by the bonfire with songs and dancing. Day 2: Early ascent to the peak of Khustup (starting at 04:30), visiting the monument of Garegin Nzhdeh, and returning to Yerevan. Hike details: - Distance: 12 km - Elevation gain: 1200 m Essential gear: comfortable warm clothing, raincoat, headlamp, sunscreen/hat, light snacks, and at least 1.5L of water. Hiking poles are recommended. The price includes transportation, guide services, tent, sleeping bag, and mat. Meeting point: Park near Yeritasardakan metro station (by the "Hands" statue).
