Rachmaninoff: Piano Concertos No. 2 & No. 4 | Eva Gevorgyan, Armenian State Symphony Orchestra
On November 27, as part of the 14th Khachaturian International Festival, the Rachmaninoff series for piano and orchestra will continue with renewed momentum. At the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, different facets of the composer’s musical world will unfold, from virtuosity to deep emotional expression. Don’t miss the second evening of the festival, featuring a program of some of Rachmaninoff’s most recognisable works. Concert Program: - Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 4 in G minor, Op. 40 (27 min); - Sergei Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43 (22 min); Intermission - Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18 (35 min).
