Ludvig Holberg’s classic comedy, directed by Narine Malyan. Poor, illiterate, and heavy-drinking Jeppe is sent to town by his wife to buy soap, but gets drunk on the way. Stumbling upon the sleeping Jeppe, a baron and his retinue decide to play a mischievous prank on him, setting off an unpredictable and fateful chain of events.
