Dance Without Borders
Social DanceMeghri, the 2026 CIS Cultural Capital, transforms into a hub of dance, music, and cultural dialogue for two days. The international festival brings together folk ensembles from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Belarus. August 28 | Meghri Cultural and Sports Center 18:00–20:00 — Official opening and Gala concert. The Hovhannes Sharambeyan Folk Arts Museum in Yerevan houses a large collection of Armenian folk crafts—wood, metal and stone carving, ceramics, rugs, textiles, and silverwork. It stages temporary exhibitions, interactive masterclasses, and community projects (including a museum shop and café) that connect traditional artisanship with contemporary creative initiatives.
