Preserve for Whom: HiHaleb x Sudanahye

As part of the Live Archive public program, LFA hosts a lecture and discussion exploring the preservation of Armenian community memory in Aleppo and Sudan. HiHaleb — a digital community archive documenting the everyday life of Aleppo-Armenians through oral histories, GIS mapping, and photo archives. Sudanahye — the Sudanese-Armenian Heritage Project, a multimedia research initiative preserving the history and culture of the community in Sudan. Both projects will present their archival practices through a shared spatial case study, followed by a moderated Q&A on memory, archiving, and community identity. Speakers: H.
