During this impressive and rich five-day journey, you will see Nemrut, Van, Ani, Mush, Kars, Erzurum, Tigranakert, Diyarbakir, Bingol, Bitlis, and the major rivers Aratsani, Araks, Euphrates, and Tigris. You will visit the sanctuary of the gods on Mount Nemrut, swim in Lake Van, taste the local tarekh fish, and explore almost all the major cities of Western Armenia, including legendary fortresses and famous monasteries. The program includes visits to Lake Çıldır, the Cathedral of Ani, Daroynk Fortress, Berkri Waterfall, Mher’s Door, Van Fortress, and Akhtamar Island. You will ascend Mount Nemrut (Van), see Bitlis Fortress and the khachkars of Por, visit St. Kirakos Church in Diyarbakir, and the bridge over the Tigris. The trip continues to the Euphrates River and the ancient sanctuary on Mount Nemrut (Adiyaman), the old quarter of Mush, and the Sulukh Bridge. On the final day, you will visit the Sanasaryan College in Erzurum, the Shepherd's Bridge in Basen, Kars Fortress, and the Holy Apostles Church. Price includes: 3* and 4* hotels (double rooms), high-quality transport, 2 meals per day, professional guide services (Armenian turkologists), entrance fees to sights (except Ani, Nemrut, and Holy Cross), and the boat trip in Van. Price does not include: visa fee and entrance fees for Ani, Holy Cross, and Nemrut (approx. 35 EUR).
